Video marketing is probably one of the most effective ways to bring traffic to your website. It has the power to bring an unlimited number of visitors to your site everyday.
Why?...
...Because sites like Youtube have such a large volume of visitors that video marketing has become the easiest way to get maximum exposure for your site while simultaneously enticing people to visit your site.
Youtube has even made it possible to monetize your videos, so you could possible bring in a new stream of revenue this way too.

Youtube is so popular because people are easily engaged by visual stimulation. A huge percentage of people are visual learners, so video is a great way to create "how-to" videos for your website that you could either display for free use, give away as a subscriber incentive, or sell for profit.
There's been a big "how-to" movement and now sites devoted to step-by-step articles are popping up all over the internet because the economy is forcing people to do what they’d normally pay others to do themselves.
Now, more than ever, people need to teach themselves to fix things, make things, arrange things, cook things, etc, that they've never done before.

How-to is definitely a part of the cost-cutting trend. While sites that focus on the written "how-to" sector are growing in number everyday - it's the websites that focus on video "how-to" that are really booming.
Marketing with video optimizes your advertising efforts. The reasons should be obvious - people would rather watch a video than read. And this is not an academic attack from the "watch-too-much television" campaign, this is just me stating a fact.
Most people are visual learners and need to see things in action before they can learn to complete an action. You can teach people almost anything if you just show them how by letting them watch you do it.
So what does your site have to offer? How can you benefit from marketing with video? What do you already know how to do that you could teach your visitors?
With videos you could teach someone how to sew, crochet, fish, thrift shop, paint, dance, sing, play an instrument, set up a website, make money online... Are you getting the point? I could go on forever.
Most laptops, these days, come with a web cam already built in. Have you been staring at your web cam all this time, yet haven't capitalized the potential you have before you? Your "how-to" video could be just a few clicks away.
Once you've made a video, use it to draw traffic to you site. Set up or edit your Youtube profile to include your website information.
And most importantly make as many "how-to" videos as you can think of - the more the better. Think of each one as a new video marketing opportunity to bring more people to your website. (Read "Viral Video-Marketing" for more information)
